"Tails of the Big Bay" is a series of sculptural panels about sea life residing in San Diego Bay.  The panels provide information in both English and Spanish about the Eastern Pacific grean sea turtle, surf perch, harbor seal and pelican, which are all found in and near San Diego Bay.To create the artwork, Ms. Nelson collaborated with students from Bayside, Perkins, Kimball, Silver Strand adn Silver Gate elementary schools, which are in the Port of San Diego's Partnership in Environmental Education Program.
